March 6 marks the second anniversary of Lissa's death. I don't yet know how I'm going to mark that day. I do know it's going to hurt. Maybe not as deeply as a year ago, but it will still hurt.

Feeling absolutely gutted by the wildfires in the LA area in California. I have sympathy for the human loss (lives, homes, possessions), but I find that the majority of my sorrow is for the animals, both domestic and wild. My heart hurts to know that they were running in terror, dying in pain. Blessings to these sweet souls.
